Jill Larson, Owner and
Creative Genius
Jill Larson has been puppeteering and writing her own scrips since 1993, starting with a launch performance at a church in Minnesota.
Jill has performed in a variety of venues such as: County fairs, schools, company events, day care facilities, senior centers, abuse shelters, family aviation events, 4-H Clubs, Girl Scout groups, Irish Fest in Oshkosh WI, Breakfast with Santa, and more. She has also trained puppet teams for Churches.
Since then, Jill has been pushing the envelope by incorporating ventriloquism into her performances.
Puppets have been a part of Jill’s life since she was very young. In fact, she still has the first two puppets from way back.
Jill received “Awards of Achievement” from the Wisconsin Association of Public, Education, and Government Access Channels, Inc. (W.A.P.C.) for her show Capstone Characters Presents which aired on Oshkosh, WI, Cable Access Channel 10.
In 2012, Jax and Jill took third place in the Adult Category in the Oshkosh WI Kiwanis “Oshkosh Talent Untapped” show. The proceeds of this dinner and variety show went to the Kiwanis Scholarship Program for graduating high school Seniors, continuing education.
THE CAST
Jax the Jerboa
Jax is the youngest performer of the troupe. As the old saying goes, “Out of the mouths of babes”, comes endless questions and natural naivete. Always a happy boy and ready for fun, he endears himself immediately to all members of the audience.

Bossy the Cow
Bossy the Cow is our “tell it like it is” girl. Political correctness isn’t her ‘forte’
but she has words of wisdom for anyone who’ll listen. She’s still a heifer – no calves – unless you count the ones on her legs.
Bossy is great for the adult audiences.

Clyde the Moose
Clyde the moose is our older, dignified gentleman. His fondness for low expectations keeps him well grounded; especially at nap times. Clyde is our carpenter, electrician, and plumber–but only when there isn’t an “R” in the month.

Emily Rose the Vulture
Emily Rose is our natural “Goth” girl. She’s all about Halloween and spooky, scary stuff. She especially likes to hang out with the audience at Jill’s Halloween reading show. Expect her to say nothing. It’s her actions that speak louder.

Boris the Bat
Boris like Emily Rose, prefers just hanging around. Mostly on Halloween but he does like to hang around the library and the beach…but at night of course.
