Clyde’s Train of Thought
Hey everybody, this is Clyde.
Glad to see you here. I can never
be sure how many people will
read this far but I understand.
When I buy something with
directions for building it, I
usually use that to kneel on.
Here’s today’s puzzle:
Guess what I’m thinking of
here are the clues:
1. Water in solid form?
2. Lady’s face moisturizer?
3. The day after Saturday?

COUSIN RATSO’S CORNER
Hi! I’m Cousin Ratso
and I’m here to help you and your
family to do some fun things together.
So let’s start out with something
that is not only fun to do
but delicious too.
Let’s make some Nestle Toll House
Chocolate Chip Cookies!!!
Preheat oven to 375 (better let your parents
do that for you)
Ingredients:
2 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened
¾ cup granulated sugar
¾ cup packed brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 large eggs
2 cups (12 oz. Pak.) Nestle toll house semi-sweet chocolate morsels (chips)
Mix the flour, baking soda and salt in a small bowl and set aside. In a large bowl, beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar and vanilla extract until creamy. Gradually beat in flower mixture. Stir in morsels (chips). Then drop by rounded
tablespoon onto ungreased baking sheets.
Bake for 9 to 11 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on the baking sheets for 2 mins. Let them cool completely before you eat them.
(I know you’ll want to grab a cookie right away but wait for them to cool off first so you won’t burn yourself.)
And there you have it a fun and delicious time to spend with the family and what a way to learn Math and Science all at the same time!

How ARE You!?
It’s nice you made it back here to visit me! They would jolly well put me on the last page.
“Are there things that you’re good at, like sports or music? Be sure to do that as much as you can; you have no idea where it can take you. Every one of us has different talents and abilities. It’s up to you to keep doing them – you’ll get better the more you practice. Practicing isn’t always easy, but you’ll come out ahead if you do. So don’t give up!”
